Oh no! An alien! Aaaaah! (two or three people will sure get this reference).
There was a time in my life, all the way back in high school and art school, when I used to draw nothing but Xenomorphs. There were several reasons for this: First, I was a total Edgy McEdgelord who was obsessed with the dark stuff; second, I was coping with the constant non-stop abuse I was inflicted both in school and at my own house; and third, I liked drawing penises disguised as aliens. Things have changed a bit ever since then, except for the penises part. Now I like drawing penises right away, because why bother hiding it, right?
Well for this one I tried not to emphasize the phallic nature of the alien's head too much, as I find it incredibly distracting. Drawing this one brought back some memories, some good some bad, so I'd consider it an exercise in catharsis. I have to admit though, I had a lot of fun figuring out this picture's composition and the lighting. I wanted to draw something scary, and since it's October, I love the Alien Franchise, and Inktober is happening, then why not something with the beloved Xenomorphs?
I hope you guys enjoy the picture!
Please, let me know what you think of it in the comments. I appreciate and every single one I receive.

I think it's my favorite technique, maybe because I'm too big a fan of the heavy shadows. Thank you so much Lucky
"O NO! DAT ALIEN;S GUNA DESTROY R AWSUM BAES!"
Also...this reminds me...I wanna see the Alien movies...
I am rather worried, truth be told. I doubt we're ever going to get a movie as technically and narratively impressive as either Alien or Aliens were.
Only time will tell. For now, all we have Aliens-wise is the games Alien: Isolation and Aliens: Colonial Marines (the DOOM mod, not the Gearbox Xenomorph turd.)
