Man, I haven't done an inked piece in forever. I forgot how much I enjoy doing crosshatching, and how I can play around with the thickness of the lines and practice my technique some more. I don't think I've emphasized enough how troublesome the inking is for me, so having the chance to do more practice with it is always a joy and something I welcome a lot.

Here we have Applejack in her cowgirl get up, about to shoot some worthless punk for insulting the quality of her apples. You really shouldn't mess with anyone when they are armed, but the red lights in your brain that warn you about getting in dangerous territory should definitely start flashing if that someone happens to be Applejack. If she doesn't shoot you dead she sure has the strength you kick the everloving life out of you. I had fun drawing her outfit, gave me the chance to let out my inner costume designer. I also like those pseudo-boots she has on her hooves. I've been wanting to draw some of those forever.
